It isn't uncommon for any legalese to have indemnification.
Nor is it uncommonto sign an NDA.

If all you're looking for is server management and don't want to sign an NDA there are heaps.
To find one without indemnification might be hard.

PSM is more of a budget provider.

You could always ask each of them.

Totally fine with NDA, was just surprised by the fact I'm paying for professional services, which they offer as-is, while I assume the risk.

Not looking for indemnification either, but definitely accountability. Otherwise it's just opps my bad when someone issues a rm -rf /*

Ok, well I now know the answer is NO

It is so bad I cannot even find a word to describe it.

Paid for 5 hour emergency response, at $90 per hour. I was busy and I specifically asked them to set up Litespeed Enterprise with chroot, suexee, external app (php), and script handler for php.

Emergency agent 1: 1h45m
checking this, checking that, more checking, changing shift (2hr gap)

Emergency agency 2: 1h45m
repeating the same things again, checking, checking checking (wait for supervisor, 8 hrs)

I hired Litespeed Enterprise for 1 hour @ $150 and they had it wrapped up in about 45 minutes, along with documented steps to replicate.

This isn't even complicated, I can't imagine what happens when they actually have to work on complex scenarios.

Fresh Server install through standard priority wasn't any better. Numerous instructions ignored, from installing MySQL vs MariaDB, then trying to install a work around because they just didn't follow the instructions and decided it was a good idea to use MariaDB 10.3, which pretty old, and done in six months. While the 10.6 release is LTS and supported until 2026. And this is just the tip, had no choice but to request an OS reinstall and start again.

Last message, log into the data center to get the OS reinstall credentials. I received an update saying they were working it and would provide an update shortly. Then like 12 hours later, the guy is like, hey we can't login using the server credentials, as if they have no clue the server was reinstalled, no clue about anything. And of course haven't even started yet.

Any competent server management companies? (outside of testing/evaluating each)
