Hi all,

Is anyone experiencing issues with iDrive.com's S3 storage? We've been facing speed problems for three days, unable to make backups, and encountering issues with every restoration attempt, with the process failing to complete.

No matter how much we contact them, all we receive is a predefined response stating that our case is a priority, but without providing any additional details over the past few days.

Anyone in the same situation with them?

This is frustrating...

I have performed tests and 80% of the files are corrupted.

idrive is still not saying anything, a real shame.

Hi all,

Good and bad news.

Good news are iDrive has recovered the speed on backups. The bad news are they lost backups and data from our account.

We have started our migration to OVH S3 storage, so we will write here once its tested.

Thank you all for participating.

I have the same problem, 450TB in 4 different countries. All of them are slow, not just one, but the one with the most by far is Paris.

We are synchronizing offices worldwide and I have logs from each computer. We do it with rclone or awscli.

20gb that used to take 10m maximum, now it takes 100 minutes, 40 minutes etc.

From idrive, they have not deigned to answer, I have sent emails, tickets, chats, etc.. I've only received automatic replies...

it's incredible, how there is Zero information about wasabi issue in Texas.

Our entire 55TB of incremental backups of 5000+ clients is pretty much worthless, having files corrupted/missing every few thousands. their status page, says nothing, and we only got some information trough mail.

i'm indeed trying out iDrive with good enough results, but my experience with them i extremely short, so this doesn't speakrs about their reliability. But at least i have lost my entire trust on wasabi.

And backblaze have persistent errors, and not recommended by jetbackup, so, not an option either.

Be careful with iDrive. Before this low speed problem for more than 3 days we also have faced a lot of problems with no access to all buckets for periods of 1-2 hours for many times, but we trusted they were working to solve that. Now, restoring 5GB for us is being a work of more than 36 hours and in the meanwhile they didnt offer any answer to our tickets.

I have been searching for answers related to that Wasabi issue also in Texas, as the earlier message pointed out. I have used IDrive e2 and happy with it in general, I would keep testing it.

wich location?

we are testing idrive e2, for now without problems..

and we are testing them, because wasabi TX location has a massive corruption, that made our 55TB of backups unusable and corrupted.

We are facing problems with Paris ubication. But we have tried frankfurt and its very slowly too. About the 55TB... Thats our fear with our 115TB on iDrive, they dont answer anything new since 3 days and counting.
