Divyashree subramanya was UNBELIEVABLE - I had a website issue and I'm not great with this sort of thing - he was extremely patient, professional, understood my needs and problems, even though it took a while, I never felt hurried or anything like that - and was just fantastic. Five stars is not enough for the support I got - needs 10 stars at least. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Switching to Hostgator has been the BEST thing we've done in years!

I have been with Hostgator for about 25 years and the customer service (under EIG) has been absolutely awful, truly horrendous. So I don't know what has changed but now it is 5/5.
I have been on and off with customer service for over a week, every time someone has answered the chat support within 60 seconds, they have been extremely helpful every time to the point where I don't even think twice about contacting them. I don't spend hours or days trying to fix things myself because it's easier to spend 2 days trying than getting through to someone. Now it really is great.
It really is astonishing the change in customer service that Hostgator has undergone. My only gripe is that I've spent 25 years paying for my old account which, over the years, has been discontinued as an option so I've been paying about 16 times more per month than I am now I have changed to a new plan.
It just worked before and customer support wasn't worth speaking to to try and change so I never bothered.
