Absolute worst customer service in the industry. Paid $1600 for webpage design and 2 months later page is still not published. They charge you and outsource the work to other companies, which you cannot even get hold off. You never get to talk to the designer, there’s no dedicated point of contact. Everytime you call there’s someone new on the phone and most of these people don’t know what they’re doing and will transfer you from one department to other. Even the smallest of tasks will take hours on the phone without any resolution. Avoid them at any cost.
I recently switched hosting providers and decided to use HostGator based on recommendations and reviews I read. I have a reseller account and their tech support has been very helpful when I've encountered issues with migrating websites. I my interactions with them I've found their support team to be willing to help, professional and friendly. In most cases, they have gone beyond what I expected to resolve my issues. So far, I've been very pleased with my decision to leave my old hosting provider for HostGator.
